ABOUT OUR PASTOR - James Bolin
The Reverend Dr. James E. Bolin, Jr. became our 15th Pastor in July, 2001. He is a graduate of Southwest Baptist University (B.A.); Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and McCormick Theological Seminary (D.Min.). Dr. Bolin has done post-graduate study at the University of Michigan - Dearborn and the University of Detroit - Mercy.
He is a licensed and ordained American Baptist minister. He serves on the faculty of the Certificate in Christian Ministry Program for the American Baptist Churches of Michigan. Dr. Bolin also serves as Adjunct Faculty in Comparative Religion at Macomb Community College.
To us, he is Pastor James, a kind and loving man who is our spiritual leader. A gifted public speaker and group leader, Pastor James has led us into a deeper understanding of discipleship and helped us better organize for ministry in the 21st century. He is easy to talk with, insightful, and humorous. We hope that you will come to know him as we have.
